Connect an AI assistant
Cirrux runs an MCP server, so you can give an AI assistant access to your mail and calendar. Ask it to summarize what came in today, find that invoice from March, draft a reply, or move a meeting. It works with any assistant that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors, and there is nothing to install.
Server URL
This is the address you paste into your assistant:

Pick your assistant for a guide with screenshots.
Any other MCP client
Add a custom connector
Find the place where your assistant lets you add a connector, sometimes called an integration, an app or an MCP server. Choose to add a custom or remote one.
Paste the server URL
Give it a name (Cirrux) and paste https://mcp.cirrux.co/mcp as the server URL. If you are asked for an authentication method, choose OAuth. You don’t need a client ID or secret.
Sign in and approve
Your assistant opens a Cirrux sign-in page. Pick the workspace you want to connect, choose what the assistant may do, and click Authorize.
Start asking
Open a new chat and ask something about your mail or calendar, for example “What’s on my calendar tomorrow?”
What the assistant can do
- Mail: search and read your email and attachments, archive, label, star, snooze and trash threads, and write drafts.
- Sending: send a draft, but only when you have asked it to. Most assistants ask for your confirmation first.
- Calendar: look up events, create, change and delete them, and accept or decline invitations.
Drive, contacts and Docs are not available to assistants yet. For those, use the Cirrux CLI or the API.
Permissions and privacy
You decide what an assistant may do when you connect it. Turn Mail or Calendar off on the sign-in page, or open the dropdown next to either to grant only part of it, such as reading without sending. If the assistant later needs something you didn’t grant, it asks you to approve that separately.
An assistant only ever acts as you, in the workspace you picked. Changes it makes show up in your activity feed, so you can always see what it did.
Your assistant’s provider sees whatever the assistant reads from your account, the same as anything else you share in a chat. Only connect assistants whose provider you trust with your mail.
Disconnecting an assistant
Go to Settings → Security in Cirrux Mail. Under Authorized apps you’ll find every assistant you have connected. Revoke one and it loses access straight away. You can also change what it may do from there.
