Mailboxes

Cirrux gives you complete flexibility over how you receive email. Add multiple domains, create unlimited aliases, and use advanced addressing features to organize your inbox.

Features

Multiple domains

Add as many domains as you like to your workspace. Each domain can have its own set of mailboxes and addresses. Simply verify ownership of your domain through DNS, and you can start receiving email.

Go to Settings → Domains to manage your domains.

Aliases

Link multiple email addresses to a single mailbox. All emails sent to any of your aliases will arrive in the same inbox. This is useful for having different addresses for different purposes, like contact@ and hello@ both going to the same place.

You can manage your mailbox addresses via Settings → Mailboxes.

Catch-all

Enable catch-all on a domain to receive emails sent to any address at that domain, even if no specific mailbox or alias exists. This ensures you never miss an email because of a typo or an address you forgot to set up.

You can enable or disable catch-all by clicking the three dots menu on Settings → Domains.

Plus addressing

Use plus addressing to create unlimited variations of your email address on the fly. For example, if your address is rick@example.com, emails to rick+newsletters@example.com or rick+shopping@example.com will all arrive in your inbox. Use this to filter incoming mail or track where your address was shared.

This is enabled automatically for all mailboxes.

Subdomain addressing

Just like plus addressing, you can also use subdomains to receive email. Emails sent to rick@anything.example.com will be delivered to rick@example.com. This gives you another way to organize and filter your incoming mail.

This works only for custom domains, and requires a wildcard MX record (e.g. *.example.com) to be configured in your DNS.

Email filters

Automatically organize incoming emails with powerful filter rules. Create conditions based on sender, recipient, subject, or message content, and have Cirrux take actions like archiving, labeling, flagging, or deleting matching emails.

Each filter can combine multiple conditions using “all conditions” (AND) or “any condition” (OR) logic. Available actions include skip inbox, mark as read, flag, apply a label, or delete.

Manage your email filters from Settings → Mailboxes, then select a mailbox and click Email filters.
