Setup

For Mac, iPhone and iPad users, we recommend using a configuration file to set up Cirrux. This file contains all the details you need to set up your mailbox, calendar, contacts and reminders.

App Passwords

To connect third-party apps like Thunderbird or Outlook, you need an app-specific password. Your main account password cannot be used for IMAP, SMTP, or CalDAV connections. You can create app passwords in your mailbox settings — select your mailbox, go to the ‘Passwords’ tab, and create a new password.

Incoming (IMAP)

Server: imap.cirrux.co
Port: 993 (SSL) or 143 (STARTTLS)
Username: Your email address
Password: Your App Password

Outgoing (SMTP)

Server: smtp.cirrux.co
Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS)
Username: Your email address
Password: Your App Password

Calendar

Server: api.cirrux.co

Contacts
