Sync
Cirrux Sync connects to your Google account and imports your emails, calendar events, and contacts into Cirrux. You can keep your Google account active while syncing, making it easy to transition at your own pace.
How it works
Connect your Google account
Go to Settings → Sync and click Connect Google Account. You’ll be asked to authorize Cirrux to read your emails, calendar events, and contacts. After connecting, Cirrux discovers your Gmail labels and Google calendars so you can choose exactly what to import.
Emails
Cirrux imports your Gmail messages including all your labels. You can choose to sync everything or only specific labels. Standard labels like Inbox, Sent, Drafts, and Archive are always included.
You can optionally apply a label to all imported emails (e.g. “Gmail”) to easily distinguish them from new mail arriving in Cirrux.
Calendar events
Your Google Calendar events are imported into Cirrux calendars. During setup, you can choose which Google calendars to sync and which Cirrux calendar each one maps to.
Contacts
Your Google Contacts are imported into Cirrux, so your address book is ready to use right away.
Automatic updates
After the initial import, Cirrux checks for new and changed data every hour. As long as your Google account stays connected, new emails, calendar events, and contacts are automatically copied over.
You can monitor sync progress and see recent sync runs from Settings → Sync. Each run shows how many items were added or updated.
Safe and one-way
Cirrux Sync is read-only. We never update, modify, or delete any data in your Google account. Your Google data stays exactly as it is.
Disabling a sync type or removing label mappings does not delete data already imported into Cirrux. Changes to your sync configuration only affect future syncs.
